Leonardo DiCaprio’s Big Oscar Win

Leonardo DiCaprio oscar win

After six nominations Leonardo DiCaprio finally wins his first Oscar for his performance in “The Revenant” on Sunday night’s Academy Awards. Sixth time’s a charm! Dicaprio took home the award for Best Actor In A Leading Role. He should have won one along time ago if you ask me. Umm… What’s Eating Gilbert Grape. Anyways, that doesn’t matter, what matters is that he finally won!!

The Revenant star also received a standing ovation from his peers. Apparently that doesn’t happen very often, so what does that tell you? His win was way overdue!

“The standing ovation, that doesn’t happen all the time. What did that mean to you? Your peers?”

“I was very moved” DiCaprio, 41, told “Good Morning America” co-anchor Robin Roberts backstage.
